Communities Served

Bay Area Habitat for Humanity is committed to long-term partnerships with the local communities we serve. So far, we have completed homes and rehab projects in Alvin, Dickinson, Texas City and La Porte.

Our overall service area includes Galveston County and some of Brazoria and Southeast Harris counties. We are bordered by Alvin to the West, La Porte to the East, and from Beltway 8 all the way down to Texas City and Galveston.

    Bay Area Habitat for Humanity acquired the Texas City area when that Habitat affiliate decided to dissolve early in 2012.  We have been constructing new homes in Texas City since January of 2013 and are continuing a long-term partnership with that municipality. Learn More
