Bay Area-Houston Habitat for Humanity offers volunteer opportunities for you to help with all aspects of our organization.  We have both construction and non-construction volunteer opportunities available.

On-site construction work is the most popular of Habitat's volunteer opportunities.  You don't need to be an expert in construction to help out on the work site.  There are many tasks that require only a willingness to learn and work with others.  We make every effort to incorporate all willing volunteers regardless of skill level.  All volunteers on the construction site must be at least 16 years of age or older.

We are always looking for new volunteers to help us with our non-construction needs such as fund raising, event planning, grant writing, volunteer recruiting, accounting, family selection, marketing, church/faith relations, photography, cooking and baking for our hungry work site volunteers, and anything else you think you can contribute.  Visit our Non-Construction Volunteer Page for more information about these opportunities.

It's quick and simple to find out where we have volunteer needs.  Just visit our Calendar to find an opportunity that suits your interests and availability and fill out our online volunteer form.

For groups of volunteers, please review our Groups Page for more information.
