Most people think of swinging a hammer when they think about volunteering for Habitat.  Due to the tremendous amount of planning and management required to build just one home, we have a constant need for committee members and volunteers to help with various other tasks.  Many of our younger volunteers (under the age of 16) and families who'd like to volunteer together opt to help out here.  You don't need to be an expert in any of these fields to help out!  There are many tasks that require only a willingness to learn and work with others.

Listed below are some of the non-construction volunteer opportunities.

Community Outreach

• Fund Raising —
  We need creative and enthusiastic people to help us raise funds.  If you can come up with ideas for great fund raising opportunities then please click the link to send us an e-mail.
• Media, Newsletter, Press —
  We are looking for someone interested in writing for the newsletter, issuing press releases, making contact with local media, etc.  No experience necessary - just enthusiasm!  Click the link to contact the Volunteer Coordinator if you're a candidate.

• Members for Committees —

Office/Clerical/Teaching

• Workshop Leaders —
  We are in need of volunteers with extensive knowledge in any construction trade that would be willing to teach staff and conduct a workshop.  Please click the link to send us an e-mail.

On-Site Non-Construction

• Photographers —
  We need photographers to take lots of pictures of all our volunteers working hard!  You don't need to be a professional, you just need to be able to provide us with a digital copy of your photos.  Click the link to send us an e-mail.
• Gourmet Chef —
