Everyone deserves to feel safe and secure at home!
From May 14, 2024 to May 17, 2024, Bay Area Habitat for Humanity volunteers installed around 40 free Ring cameras around La Marque neighborhoods in collaboration with the City of La Marque. Dedicated Habitat volunteers set up the Ring Cameras all throughout the La Marque community to help keep senior citizens safe and secure. According to the City of La Marque, the volunteer camera registry program “combats crime by installing these cameras so in the event of criminal incidents, law enforcement can identify nearby cameras and seek community support in gathering video evidence and pursing leads.”
Bay Area Habitat for Humanity is committed to empowering communities through shelter, and we believe that peace of mind at home should not be a luxury – it is a necessity!
Thank you to our lovely volunteers that contributed their time and efforts to make our community a safer place for neighbors of all ages!
