Home Dedication for April
Bay Area Habitat for Humanity has dedicated a new safe, affordable Habitat home to April and her family!
Welcome home, April! What an incredible day of celebration, empowerment, and love as we dedicated our Texas City Habitat home to April and her family! We are so grateful to our community for coming together to celebrate April’s dream of homeownership becoming a reality. So many hammers, hands, and hearts built this home that will provide a strong foundation for a brighter future for April and her girls. We are so proud of April for this life-changing achievement, and we appreciate the Moody Foundation and Marathon Petroleum Corporation for making this all possible.
The overwhelming joy and spirit of community felt on this day will resonate for years to come, and the outpouring of support from so many neighbors and partners has been truly heartwarming.
We want to give a special thanks to the City of Texas City, The Fellowship of Texas City, volunteer Cory Bush of Marathon Petroleum, Moore Memorial Public Library & Friends of Moore Memorial Public Library, Galveston County Master Gardeners, Texas City-La Marque Chamber of Commerce, TLOD, Bay Area South Houston, Clear Brook Choir, and so many more for making this day extra special for April and her family.
Thank you to all who put your heart and soul into this event:
